CEO: Severstal's new product supply in Russia rises by 30% in H1

MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- Steel maker Severstal raised national sales of new types of products in January–June by 30%, CEO Alexander Shevelyov said on his blog in social network Vkontakte on Thursday.

"Development of new types of products is among the priorities for our company, especially today, when demand for imports replacement is growing. I want to share with you an important achievement here -- Severstal raised supply of new product to the national market by 30% in the first half of 2023," the CEO said.

He mentioned such products as S700 grade high-strength steel, Rooftop Drain PU Matte steel for water drainage, 25X grade steel for wear-resistant railcar side frame linings and Forcera weather-resistant steel as the new ones.
